The Young Bucks Youth Day Clinic at Fitchville Conservation League was a roaring success. Seth Collingswood organized and executed a six station introduction to safely handle various hunting implements. Stations were set up for Archery, Rifles, Muzzle loaders, Pistols, Shotguns and an Trapping. Forty five rotated through the six stations where safety concerns about each endeavor was discussed. At each station the students were given the opportunity to fire the various firearms. The Young Bucks clinic is designed to give the students a taste of the shooting sports and hunting as a conservation activity. A continuation would be the Introduction to Long Guns, Introduction to Shotguns, Introduction to Archery, and Introduction to Trapping classes that the Fitchville Conservation League and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources hold and sponsor each year. 88 Pictures
