Handgun Action Shoot Primer from Saturday, September 10th

Handgun Action shooting is a 18 shot timed event with penalty points for hitting bad guys, (see Handgun Action Menu Tab for scoring details)

The Course is based on a scenario developed by Bernie. Bernie has a mind that works a bit differently.

Shot 2 & 5: The distant target has a good guy in front and rear. — Two handed- Shot 1 & 4: The bad guy is behind two good guys. Don’t shoot the good guys. Two handed- Shot 2 & 5: The distant target has a good guy in front and rear. Lots of leaning to see shot 3 & 6. Both hands- You are standing on a little rug about a foot square.

Shot 3 & 6: The closest bad guy is behind two good guys. — You are still on the rug. Right hand only- Shot 7 & 10: The closest bad guy is in front of and behind two good guys. Right hand only-Shot 8 & 11; To the right- The bad guy is behind a good guy but don’t hit the the good guy to the extreme right. Right hand only- Shot 9 & 12: Bad guy standing all by himself in the distance between the previous two.

Shot 13 & 16: The bad guy is behind a baricade. You are standing on another rug. — Standing on a rug 12.5 inches square- Both hands- Shot 13 & 16: The bad guy is behind a barricade. You are standing on another rug.

Shot 14 & 17: Bad guy has a good guy in front and back. Don't shoot the good guy. — Both hands or left hand: Shot 14 & 17: Bad guy has a good guy in front and back. Don’t shoot the good guy.

Shot 15 & 18: In the distance a bad guy surrounded by good guys. Don't shoot the good guys. — Both hands or left hand- Shot 15 & 18: In the distance a bad guy surrounded by good guys. Don’t shoot the good guys.
