Youth Day at the Range on Saturday, September 9, 2017 started with a safety session. Gary Bradt explained the four safety rules of firearms and archery. After the safety session the participants divided into three groups: Rifles on the Pistol Range, Shotguns in the Trap Area, and Archery at the Archery Area. The FCL volunteer instructors manned the three sites. All the participants had an opportunity to practice their skills with an volunteer instructor at each of the area stations.. A total of 54 took advantage of the day; 28 were youth under the age of 18. Below are photos taken by Huron County Wildlife Officer Nathan Kaufman to record the class session.
