  • Come prepared to the match, this will prevent undue stress and allow you to focus on the day’s events and not waste time rushing to find equipment.

  • Weather conditions can be unpredictable. Bring appropriate gear for all conditions including rain coat, hat, warm clothing (for cool days), etc.

  • Wear suitable clothing. Range conditions may vary; long pants and boots/hiking shoes are a good choice.

  • Run each course of fire at your own pace, pushing yourself only enough to stay safe. As a great instructor once said,  “Slow is smooth, smooth is fast”

  • Each course of fire combines accuracy, strategy and speed. Combing these factors will result in an overall time you will be pleased with and enjoyable run.

Most importantly, relax, have fun and stay safe!!!
