Deer Processing Class
October 15 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
This event is open to the public, hunters and locavores who would like to know how to process their own deer kill and also how to preserve their game as well as tasting a few wild game dishes and offerings from Ohio’s wildlife. Recognizing the latest farm to table movement, the FCL and Division of Wildlife District 2 will partner to conduct these clinics. Trained outdoor skills specialists from the Division of Wildlife District 2 office and the FCL will cover topics including field dressing, skinning, butchering and packaging a whitetail deer. Participants will be encouraged to get hands on in helping to process the deer.
