Discuss the difference between water bath canning, and pressure canning, as there is a distinct difference. We will be going over the basics of canning, safety rules, types of canners, USDA regulations, equipment etc.
- Learn about vegetables and fruit canning process
- Learn about canning meats process
- Learn techniques and information on safe handling and proper equipment use
- Bring a pen and notebook for notes
- Learn some history and see samples
