SUMMARY:Concealed Carry Class - CCW
DESCRIPTION:Concealed Carry Class     $75 \nThis is an introductory course to NRA Basic of pistol shooting\, an 8-hour instructor led basic pistol course.\nClass will consist of 6 hours in the classroom where students will learn to handle\, load and unload various firearms using dummy ammunition. Course covers all aspects of safety and effectively owning\, handling\, shooting\, storing and maintaining a handgun.\nCourse meets State of Ohio requirements for CCW license. Ohio concealed carry laws and application process will be discussed in detail. Written Exam will be given at the end of the class.\nAfter class\, we will spend 2 hours on the range for live firing.\nYou’ll leave our class with all the information required to safely own\, use\, care for\, and store your firearm.\nThe course fee includes everything\, even loaner guns and ammo to qualify for the course. If you own a gun and would like to bring it\, please do so with 100 to 150 rounds of ammo. All firearms and ammo will be left in your vehicle until instructed to bring them into the club or on the range.\nPlease bring a light lunch and drinks. Pay at the door for the class.

SUMMARY:Hunter Education Class
DESCRIPTION:Our hunter and trapper education programs are designed for every age and ability. These free-to-the-public hunter-education classes are brought to you by the Fitchville Conservation League and partially funded by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR). \nODNR-certified instructors conduct classes and cover a range of topics from: conservation\, safety\, and ethics\, to the proper handling of firearms\, bow hunting gear\, and more. Courses are designed to provide the participant with the knowledge to become a safe and responsible hunter. Free lunch is provided. \nParticipants 10 years and younger need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. \nA Hunter Education course is required to purchase a hunting license. The course is designed to instill a code of ethics and responsibility\, as well as provide instruction on guns and gun handling\, field care of game\, wildlife management\, hunting regulations\, and related topics. \nClasses run 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and a free lunch is included. \nPlease sign up for class on the ODNR website.

DESCRIPTION:This class is ideal for those looking to travel to other states that require a Concealed Handgun License (CHL) or for individuals who want to learn about Ohio’s new constitutional carry laws. It includes comprehensive firearm knowledge instruction\, range time\, and a test to qualify you to apply for your Ohio Concealed Handgun License. \nThe CHL class will run until 4:00 PM\, as mandated by Ohio law \nThe class meets Ohio’s legal requirements of at least 8 hours of certified training\, which includes: \n\nSafe Handgun Handling & Storage: Learn the rules for safely handling handguns and storing both firearms and ammunition.\n\nAmmunition Safety: Understand how to handle ammunition safely.\n\nShooting Competency: Develop the skills and knowledge to shoot a handgun safely.\n\nGun Handling Training: In-depth training on how to handle firearms responsibly.\n\nPractical Training: You must complete 2 hours of practical training\, which includes live-fire range time.\n\nExamination: You will take a written test covering the rules for safe handgun handling\, storage\, and ammunition.
