Shotgun Introduction Class

- Class is Free and open to ages 10 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Sponsored by Ohio Department of Natural resources Division of Wildlife
- Taught by qualified instructors.
- Event begins in classroom with safety briefing on safe gun handling and trap shooting basics
- Class covers practices and procedures for safe handgun handling, home safety, and range etiquette along with tips on selecting the right gun to purchase.
- Class will include live fire training on the trap range with12 and 20 gauge shotguns shooting at clay pigeons.
- Eye and hearing protection provided.
- All guns and ammunition will be provided.
- Participants may bring their own 12 or 20 gauge shotgun as well as eye and hearing protection.
