Rifle Introduction Class
November 21 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
- Class is Free and open to ages 12 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Sponsored by Ohio Department of Natural resources Division of Wildlife
- Taught by NRA certified instructors.
- Class covers practices and procedures for safe handgun handling, home safety, and range etiquette.
- Explains what to look for when purchasing a rifle for target shooting, hunting or home defense.
- Class will include live fire training on the covered rifle and pistol ranges.
- All guns and ammunition will be provided.
- Eye/ear protection provided , participants may bring their own.
- Live fire training on the outdoor covered pistol range
- Will shoot various guns such as .22lr rifles, modern hunting rifles, classic military rifles, and AR/AK style firearms.
- Will shoot multiple calibers including: 22lr, 30-06, 30-30, 5.56/223, 45-70.
- Dress for the weather.
