Canning Clinic

Discuss the difference between water bath canning, and pressure canning, as there is a distinct difference. We will be going over the basics of canning, safety rules, types of canners, USDA regulations, equipment etc.

  • Learn about vegetables and fruit canning process
  • Learn about canning meats process
  • Learn techniques and information on safe handling and proper equipment use
  • Bring a pen and notebook for notes
  • Learn some history and see samples
