• Class is Free and open to ages 12 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• Sponsored by Ohio Department of Natural resources Division of Wildlife
• Taught by NRA certified instructors.
• Class covers practices and procedures for safe handgun handling, home safety, and range etiquette.
• Explains what to look for when purchasing a handgun for target shooting, concealed carry or home defense.
• Recommend this course be taken prior to taking a CCW class if they have little experience with handguns.
• Class will include live fire training on the covered pistol range.
• All guns and ammunition will be provided.
• Live fire training on the outdoor covered pistol range
• Will shoot multiple calibers including: 22lr, 9mm, 38special, 45 auto
